No audio device is installed and I have tried to install it but I keep getting an error. I am using a HP laptop.
What is the error message when you install the drivers? Which version of Windows Operating System are you using?
Start by right clicking on the speaker icon on the task bar located at the bottom right of the screen and click on “Playback Devices” to see if the audio output is set for what you are using.
Check in BIOS – Go into BIOS and check if the audio is enabled or not.
Open Device Manager and see if there is a yellow exclamation mark next to the audio device icon. If so, right click on the audio device icon, click on “update Driver Software”, select “search automatically for updated driver software” and let Windows find and configure the audio driver.
