Hp officejet 6970 Only images are getting printed and not the text on the document

Hp officejet 6970 Only images are getting printed and not the text on the document. The issue happened today, while I was trying to print a document with both images and text on the document. Only the images were getting printed. I tried a different document and the results were the same. So when I tried to print a text only document, the paper came out very faint black. The black ink cartridge is new and it was working fine the past few days. What could be causing this issue? any suggestions??

It seems that you are unable to print Word documents I’ll try my best to help you out. Do a power reset on your printer. While the printer is powered on and in idle state, remove the power cord from the back of the printer to force shutdown. Restart the printer. Now uninstall the printer driver from the root level and reinstall the full feature software from the hp support website. To uninstall the drivers from the root level, Open Programs and Features, select your printer from the list and select Uninstall. Now after that open Devices and Printers, find the printer that you want to uninstall, right click on it and select Remove Device. Press and hold the Windows Key + R key. Type pintui.exe /s Click on the drivers tab, search for the printer, click on it and click remove at the bottom, select OK, select Apply and OK. Restart your computer and printer
