My 8720 is not connected to my computer. It was just fine this morning until I received a directive to update my driver. Now it’s gone, and I have been trying for more than 2.5 hours to get it back on my own. Please help my computer to recognize my 8720 printer.
Some errors may have occurred while the automatic updates were being downloaded and installed. You can perform a driver rollback from the device manager or manually download the latest drivers from the HP support website
delete the updated printer drivers from the root level and reinstall the printer drivers. to do so uninstall the drivers from the Programs and Features. Delete the printer from the Printer Properties. Remove the HP printer drivers from the drivers tab, open the Run box and type in printui.exe /s to remove it.
