Please uninstall and reinstall the full feature printer software and drivers and follow these steps:
-Uninstall the printer software from the computer
-Download the full feature software and drivers by clicking on the link below
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-5540-all-in-one-printer-series/5447939
-Install the full feature software and drivers into the computer
-Once you have downloaded and installed the full feature software and drivers,
