Officejet 8500 After updating windows 10 it is telling me that it cant communicate with the scanner


Si I have an Officejet 8500 Premier a909n printer. After updating my desktop to windows 10 it is telling me that it cannot communicate with the scanner. Is there a way to fix this? or disable it? I have installed and uninstalled the software and drivers NUMEROUS times and nothing fixes it It prints fine. Just keeps disconnecting from scanner or something…It is a pop up box that says scanner unable to communicate and gives an error code starting with an “8” but i dont remember the exact code or number…
